How it works

  1. 1

    Upload

Add two or more PDFs. Drag to reorder before you merge.

  2. 2

    Merge

We concatenate pages with Ghostscript (qpdf fallback) into one PDF.

  3. 3

    Download

Save the bundle, then compress it to the KB cap your form requires.

Merge first, then compress to the portal cap

Many forms want one PDF containing ID, certificate, and marksheet in a fixed order. Merging with a desktop printer driver often inflates the file. Merge here to preserve existing PDF pages, then send the combined file through a size page (200 KB, 500 KB, or 1 MB) so the bundle still clears the validator.

Put pages in the same order the notification lists. Do not merge a colour photograph into a text bundle unless the form asked for a single file — photos belong in their own JPEG fields on most Indian exam portals.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge PDF files online for a job form?

Upload the PDFs in the required order, run Merge, download the combined file, then compress it to the size printed on the form (often 200 KB or 500 KB).

Is it safe to upload my PDF here?

Uploads are stored outside the public web root, addressed by unguessable names, and deleted automatically after one hour. We do not use your documents for advertising, training, or sharing, and download links expire so a leaked URL stops working.

Does merging change page size or rotation?

Pages keep their existing size and rotation. Rotate pages in a reader before merging if a scan is sideways.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

You can merge up to 10 files per job in the MVP, with a combined upload budget matching the site maximum (50 MB by default).

Will compressing reduce PDF quality?

Compressing a PDF can reduce image sharpness, but text-heavy forms usually stay fully readable. CompressPdfs Online lowers embedded image DPI only as far as needed to hit your target, and it will not silently destroy a file: if the size still cannot be met, you get the smallest safe result plus a clear message.

Can I compress after merging?

Yes. Use the related-tools links to compress the merged PDF to 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB, or 2 MB.
