The e-Aadhaar password is not a secret we can skip
UIDAI protects the e-Aadhaar PDF so a leaked email attachment does not open. The documented password is the first four letters of the name printed on the Aadhaar, in CAPITALS, plus the year of birth. Type that here if you downloaded the file from myAadhaar for yourself.
This is not an Aadhaar password bypass, not a “hack”, and not an XML/QR extractor. Wrong password returns an error. Masked Aadhaar (offline eKYC ZIP) is a different format — this tool only decrypts the PDF. After unlock you can print, merge, or compress for a job form that rejects the locked file.

What is the Aadhaar card PDF password?
The first four letters of your name as on Aadhaar, in CAPITAL letters, followed by your year of birth (YYYY). Example: if the name is Rohit Sharma born in 1992, try ROHI1992. Ignore spaces and titles such as Kumar if UIDAI used only the first name block — if that fails, try the first four letters of the full name string as printed.
Can you remove Aadhaar PDF password without the name and year?
No. We do not crack e-Aadhaar files.
Is it safe to upload my file here?
Uploads are stored outside the public web root, addressed by unguessable names, and deleted automatically after one hour. Download links expire so a leaked URL stops working.
Is it legal to unlock my own e-Aadhaar?
Decrypting a PDF you downloaded for yourself with the UIDAI-documented password is how you print it. Do not upload someone else’s Aadhaar.
Why does the unlocked file still look the same?
Unlock only removes encryption. It does not crop, mask, or compress. Use Compress PDF if a portal has a KB cap.
